What to say

it seems like time has been flying, anyone else getting that same feeling?  Its like I just had Saige & then I was moving her into size 1 diapers and 0-3month clothes, now she's in 3-6 months and size 2 diapers.  Reese is a year & half old and Cam and I have almost been married 2 years!  But more about my family later...

Lately I've been contemplating selling Saige's nursery bedding to buy something I like a ton more, I just don't know if anyone will buy it.  Its never been slept in, just set up and looked at, so I'm asking close to the sale price, and the bedding is no longer sold.  I'm also willing to sell the valence, "toy box", and wall decals and decor.  Perhaps one day I'll post a good picture here, but I'm sure theres a short & sweet version already up.

Speaking of selling things, I'm also considering putting the CR-V up for sale.  I know, its new, runs great, & I love it... BUT I would love to have enough room for all of us and our crap too without feeling like we're cramped.  I don't want payments higher than what I have so I might not go the same model year, but I guess that depends on what kind of deal I get & how I get rid of the CR-V.  I've totally thought about an xB, BUT no leather seats... bad bad idea with a baby and a dog.

I'm also trying to get my home decorated.  I have plenty of frames & pictures to hang, but its a pain to arrange the frames and decide where to put them.... I saw some awesome advice saying to buy craft paper & outline the frames then when you're done use that against the wall to place you're nails.  I must get craft paper!

I'm rambling, so I'll leave to your lives now.

From the iPad to your computer screen

That's right folks, my little fingers are clicking away on my iPad screen typing this message to you. The aforementioned product was an Easter gift to Cam, Mr. Martha Stewart & I. He's been hogging it playing his little game though & I'm trying to figure everything out & find some cool apps. So any suggestions?

Back to my original reason for posting, I haven't said much lately- but I have a few posts I need to get to writing & some pictures to share, keep your eyes open!

Proud to be an American?

Yeah, have YOU been watching the news?  Are you disgusted with the people running this country?  If not, you either A. aren't affected, B. have no idea what is going on, or C. are so Patriotic that money doesn't matter to you.

I can't believe that our country, the very one that is supposed to be the best in the world is at a point in time (again) where they are debating a government shut down, because the two parties can't come to an agreement on a budget.  Really?  Didn't the year start in October?  Yes, yes it did, so what is the hold up?  The blame game, I have decided that Congress is a bunch of 2 year olds running around in 40-70 year old bodies.  How can you boast about your country when the people running it are threatening to take away our service members pay?  Yes I am a military spouse, and I'm angry that we are being threatened with 1/2 a pay check and then nothing until a budget is worked out, but what about the other service members in the country?  Firemen, Police officers, DoD employees and the like, will all suffer too.  A good hunk of these people put their lives on the line daily (some a year+ at a time) and now this slap in the face?  "Yes, please go out on a patrol today, protect the country... no you will not get a pay check, I hope your mortgage company understands and those ramen noodles will be fine for dinner".

What frustrates me even more, the President, Congress, etc will all still be paid?  Why should they get a check, they have a job to do & they're not doing it.  I've always understood a paycheck to come after services are rendered... where are the services?  Oh thats right, now you're trying to put through another temporary extension so that we're stressing out AGAIN in 2 weeks to a month.  How ridiculous?  This whole circumstance puts a whole other meaning to procrastination.  *INSERT HUGE EYEROLL*

I will finish by saying, that although I didn't vote for Obama, I will not solely blame him & his people.  This is an issue much bigger than him, this is the congress as a WHOLE.  I will stand firm on my opinion that he should speak to the American people, the people that put him in office, and restore their faith in the government and his capabilities.  He should also be reaming Congress a new one, but we'll save that for another day.
