A month of thanks

I've seen plenty of people posting their "days of thanks" and some people just make a list... well, I'll just do this in a blog, all summed up into one list in one location, and all on one day!

I've had a rough month or so, for varying reasons, and sometimes its hard to see the positive in all of that... so here we go.

1.  I am thankful for each and every day that I get to wake up and make it through to fall asleep again.  Oh yeah, thats right, most people are just thankful for waking up, but how could you not be thankful for living through that day?!

2. I am thankful for my husband, his job, and the fact that it gives me the chance to stay home and raise our daughter.

3. Saige, my daughter.  I am thankful that I've gotten to see all of her firsts, first-hand.  I have been here to help mold her little personality, soothe her when she's hurt, angry, sad, etc and make her smile.  I am thankful that I have been given the opportunity to be a mother, and that I have been blessed with a daughter as awesome as mine.

4. My family, yes I am lumping you all into one thank, because if I listed you all individually my blog would go on forever.  I have what has to be the hugest support system ever.  I love knowing that I can call anyone of them for a moment to vent, laugh, cry, chit chat, or get a reality check, and all without judgement.  I am thankful for all the years we've gotten to do every holiday together, the memories that we share, and the ones we haven't made yet.  Most of all, I am thankful for this love, and lifestyle and that I'll be able to share that with my daughter.

5. Reese, my boxer.  She is without a doubt, the biggest entertainer ever.  There hasn't been a dull moment in my life for the last 2 years because of her, even though there's been plenty of frustrating days during her stubbornness and "puppy stage".

6. My best friend, (even though she's 1250 miles, 22 hours, 7 states, and one time zone away) I know I can FB her, or call her for anything at anytime and she'll help me through it the best way she can.  How lucky am I that I have found someone that I have this uncanning connection with?  I truly believe we are soul mates, how else would you describe our similarities?  Love you Brina!

7. Friends, they're like extended family, and better yet, you can pick them!  I love you all and you have fulfilled my life in ways that you'll never know!

8. Ice Cream, I've got to get my dairy from somewhere.

9. Momma's meatloaf on Christmas Eve, seriously, the. best.

10. Lastly, I am thankful for who I am.  I don't see how I would survive being anything other than determined, stubborn, positive, independent, strong, emotional, educated, full of common sense, and the ability to laugh at myself and others.
