Fill in Friday & More

1. What is a weird/funny superstition that you have?
Superstition, I don't really have any other than no broken mirrors or walking under ladders.  I mean I have plenty of quirks but none for superstitious reasons.
2. What are your hopes and dreams for the years AFTER the military? After all, we aren’t in it forever!
I just want to be able to make ends meet & save just like we are now.  I would love for my husband to have  a job with a set schedule and steady paycheck and for him to be happy.  For myself, hopefully I'll be done with school (at least my CNA) and working.  Our baby will be about 3 at this time, that should be fun!
3. Since [this] month is National Apple Month (no really!), I’d probably ask: What is your yummiest apple recipe?
No apple recipes, I don't really eat apples very often.
4. How long have you gone as a military spouse without talking to your husband/wife during service?
I'm considering myself very very lucky, I think the longest we've gone for military reasons without talking was a little over 2 weeks.
5. I occasionally watch When I was 17… on MTV. So, what was something that was significant about your 17th year of life?
I was a senior in High School and graduated, I got accepted into 5 out of 6 colleges I applied to.

Now for the more:
I went to the doctor on Wednesday, at that point I was 35weeks 1 day pregnant.  Anywho, I had the  GBS test done, so hopefully my results come back negative... I don't want to sit with an IV in my arm during labor.  I told the doctor I was also having cramping/pressure really low in my abdomen and pelvic area.  So since we were already down there he checked to see what was going on with my cervix.  He said I was really low but fully thick and about 1/2cm dilated.  How exciting!  He also felt around my stomach and said baby was head down, she moved!  However, I worry that she'll move again to her usual horizontal position.  I think this is a completely justified fear seeing how she was attacking the left & right side of my abdomen the other night at the same time.  I hope things keep progressing, I would love to get her out naturally & not induce.  Speaking of induction, Cam & I talked and he would like to schedule a date for induction because until block leave starts he's supposed to be busy busy at work and I might not be able to reach him.  I'm not sure what having an induction date will do for that if I go into labor before that but whatever, if he's comfortable.
